They can be made from a variety of fabrics and can be plain or patterned, and the hems can be finished in a variety of ways. At Elizabetta we make ours only from natural fabrics such as silk, wool, cashmere and modal.
Shawls have been fashionable and worn in every corner of the world for thousands of years and, in our opinion, for good reason. Shawls and evening wraps can be purely decorative, adding elegance and interest to an outfit, from casual to dressy as in wedding attire. One can be worn for warmth and also for modesty as in covering bare shoulders, and of course here at Elizabetta, we are very fond of wearing shawls and every season offer new designs as well as our classics.

Luxurious cashmere makes a perfect winter shawl as it is remarkably warm and soft. We choose to have our cashmere shawls and scarves made from lightweight pure cashmere yarn, as the result is an elegant stole that drapes so beautifully and does not add bulk to your look.
Our cashmere shawls are made from long fibers for extra softness and are made in Biella, in the north of Italy, a place renowned for making wool and cashmere fabrics.
