Extra long length traditional and stylish silk grenadine grossa in a fabulous shade of deep purplish burgundy with black in a loose weave.
Handwoven and handmade in Como, Italy with an inner lining of pure wool to help keep its shape over time.
Finished with Elizabetta's signature chocolate pinstripe silk.
Similar to the other Elizabetta grenadine ties, this tie must be seen in person to truly appreciate how spectacular it is.
Definitely one of my favourite ties to wear, simple, classic, rich and beautiful colour tone and nice pattern/texture, and adequately broad (old form)... Well made too. Very good international processing and delivery by Elizabetta's Store. (Would like a nice green!)

Lake Como Grenadine Silk
Genuine grenadine silk is produced exclusively in Como, on wooden shuttle looms dating back to the early 1900s. Twisted yarn dyed silk yarns are woven in a loose, gauze weave, creating a sheer, textured fabric that drapes beautifully.
Only two mills in Como make this specialty fabric, making the supplies quite coveted.
A true grenadine silk tie is a refined addition to every gentleman's wardrobe.
