100% silk grenadine garza fina: Garza fina (fine gauze) is a loose weave fabric made from high-twist yarns. It has a slightly knobby texture.

I have bought grenadine ties from other companies, but none that match the quality from Elizabetta. The garza fina ties are truly a finer weave than what I've seen from others and the garza grossa ties have the right amount of texture. If you want a true grenadine tie then you want one that comes from the Lake Como region of Italy as these do. If it's made in Vietnam, or any other area for that matter, it's not a true grenadine tie. I've bought several different colors from Elizabetta. Even so, you'll still be more dressed up and look better than 95% of the guys out there! -Donny L.

Firstly, I'll admit a huge fan of all the Elizabetta ties. I own about a dozen of them. This one, though, is really something special. It presents a hint more slubby than a typical garza fina weave with slightly varied colored threads used in the warp v. the weft. It reminds me mostly of a twice-washed dungaree material. Perhaps a little thicker and stiffer than one might anticipate yet nonetheless cinches up tightly into a perfectly dapper Pratt knot. Flawless and superb in every respect. -Bill F.
