As a child growing up in Rome, Elizabetta, our founder was fascinated and drawn to the Italian artisans who created beautiful things, from tailors in Rome, to glass blowers in Venice, to leather craftsmen in Tuscany.
But the one thing that interested her the most was the silk from Lake Como.
