This luxuriously soft handmade woven Napa leather handbag is a true investment piece.
Reminiscent of the color of the earth in Umbria, a rich, earthy neutral color that goes with just about everything and has no season.
Made from upgraded strips of leather called "mignon" that are hand-dyed, cut, and then folded so that there are no raw edges and the leather is doubled, making this bag uniquely beautiful.
Elizabetta had these made with 2 types of straps, both detachable so that you can use one or the other.
Versatile and practical: It has a detachable extra long leather shoulder strap so that you can carry this as a crossbody or as a shoulder bag.
Made exclusively for Elizabetta by Andrea Ribichini, a tiny family artisan workshop in Le Marche Italy that has been making woven leather bags for 3 generations.

Exceptional Quality
Elizabeth works with Andrea, in Le Marche, Italy to produce exclusive handbag designs in very small quantities, true artisanal work.
Andrea learned his craft from his father who learned it from his father. Andrea has created bags for some of Europe's most exclusive and well-known brands.
Craftsmanship passed down through 3 generations using the highest quality materials means your handbag is made to last and will become a timeless addition to your wardrobe.

Hand Woven: A Unique Process
Genuine hand-weaving is a time-consuming process. It takes an entire day to weave, sew and line just one bag!
Each leather strip is cut, then woven around a wooden form (see photo) in a process called ''intreccio'' or, in another process, the strips are sewn into a flat piece of leather which has been cut in a pattern, a process called ''infilato''.
Both techniques create a unique, artisanal handbag which carries the stories of the individuals who made it.

The Magic of Handmade in Italy
We believe in the magic of Italy and in supporting the families that continue to make true Made in Italy handbags.
Elizabeth works directly with Andrea bringing our creations directly to you, skipping the middlemen, so you get the same quality as the luxury brands at a fraction of the price.
