A pale blue satin stripe is woven into a dark navy blue grenadine garza fina for the ultimate in classic refined style.
Handwoven and handmade in Como, Italy. Constructed with an inner lining of pure wool to help keep its shape for many years. Finished with Elizabetta's signature pinstripe silk.
This is an absolutely gorgeous tie, and already my favorite of my collection. I love the style, including how the light blue stripes are smaller and more subtle vs. wider ones. Also, the shade of navy is quite dark, similar to a midnight navy blue. This is a good thing, as you want to err on the side of a darker navy, as it makes it more versatile to, for example, prevent clashing with a navy suit; I also have the Marino blue solid color tie, which is also great, however the lighter navy blue is not quite as versatile. Finally, the quality is phenomenal, like the other Elizabetta tie I own (and I'm guessing all Elizabetta ties!).

Lake Como Grenadine Silk
Genuine grenadine silk is produced exclusively in Como, on wooden shuttle looms dating back to the early 1900s. Twisted yarn dyed silk yarns are woven in a loose, gauze weave, creating a sheer, textured fabric that drapes beautifully.
Only two mills in Como make this specialty fabric, making the supplies quite coveted.
A true grenadine silk tie is a refined addition to every gentleman's wardrobe.
