Extra-long length necktie. Traditional, stylish and luxurious, a silk grenadine necktie is a wardrobe staple for the well-dressed man. The Marino is a grenadine fina weave in a medium dark navy blue.
Handwoven and handmade grenadine fina in Como, Italy. Tipped with Elizabetta's signature chocolate pinstripe silk lining and constructed with an inner lining of pure wool to help this tie keep its shape.
Gorgeous tie. I'm usually frugal with most dress clothes but figured if I'm going to splurge on one item, it'd be a navy blue genuine grenadine tie (and in the "fina," i.e. finer/smaller weave). Absolutely love it. Very weighty and high-quality. Perfect size at about 3 inches wide--not a skinny tie, and also not a fat old-school tie. As others have mentioned, this can go with anything. Tip: as others have mentioned, don't try doing larger knots like full Windsors. For one, it'd be too big, and two, it would damage the tie. Stick with the four-in-hand knot, which ends up being about the size of a normal tie's half- or full-Windsor.

Lake Como Grenadine Silk
Genuine grenadine silk is produced exclusively in Como, on wooden shuttle looms dating back to the early 1900s. Twisted yarn dyed silk yarns are woven in a loose, gauze weave, creating a sheer, textured fabric that drapes beautifully.
Only two mills in Como make this specialty fabric, making the supplies quite coveted.
A true grenadine silk tie is a refined addition to every gentleman's wardrobe.
