Shipping insurance information

By adding optional shipping insurance at checkout, Elizabetta agrees to reship the package or refund you in case of mail theft after delivery.

If optional shipping insurance is not purchased at checkout, Elizabetta denies all responsibility for packages which show as successfully delivered but the customer cannot find the package.

On the contrary, choosing optional shipping insurance covers the case when the tracking link shows a successful delivery, but the customer does not find their package.

Before reshipping or refunding the customer, Elizabetta will ask the customer to ensure it is truly a case of mail theft after delivery. This includes:

a. Confirming that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct

b. Looking all around the property, including in the mailbox

c. Asking the immediate neighbors if they received the package by mistake.

d. Waiting 24 business hours after the delivery scan, as packages sometimes show up the following business day.

 

If all of the above have been exhausted, and optional shipping insurance was purchased at checkout, Elizabetta will either refund the customer or send out a replacement package with signature required.
