Men are accessorizing with scarves more than ever before. An Elizabetta men’s scarf will add a trendy accent, or a formal touch to your look
“Men are allowed to be more interesting and expressive in their style” says Nick Sullivan, ‘Esquire’ fashion editor from a Dec. 9th, 2005 article in USA Today showcasing male celebrities wearing scarves.
Whether you try a daring color or choose a neutral, you will have a polished and finished look. We bring to you the latest in men's scarves from Como, Italy. Our silk scarves are handmade especially for Elizabetta in a small family factory of the finest Italian silk and Italian wool. Some ideas of how to wear your Italian men's scarf:
Wrap a lightweight scarf around your neck and
tuck it into a leather jacket or overcoat.
Loosely wrap a scarf around
your neck, tossing one end over a shoulder. This
looks great over a sweater and also over a suit jacket!
Fold a scarf like an accordion,
place it around your neck, ends in front, and just
let the ends hang loose
The most popular way to wear
a scarf in Europe is the Italian Loop:
1. Fold a long (oblong) scarf
into a smaller oblong. You can fold it like an
accordion, or simply fold it in
half
lengthwise
several
times until it is the desired width.
2. Fold your oblong in half,
ends to ends, creating a loop.
3. Place this folded oblong
behind your neck and bring the looped end and the
loose ends to the front.
4. Take the two loose ends and
pull them through the loop.
5. Pull the ends until the scarf
fits as snugly around your neck as you like. |
